Thursday, the 17th. Mr. Bruns continued with his presentaion on JFK. The hospital he was sent to right after the shooting was Parkland Hospital. Connally's wife was becoming upset when all of the doctor's attention was focused on John F. Kennedy. The secret services took JFK to a seperate hospital to doctor on him. The Parkland Hospital was upset about this happening. Lyndon Johnson ordered all of Kennedy's stuff to be out of his office within 24 hours. This lead to some conspiracy. The funeral took place three days after his killing. He was buried on his son's third birthday.Lee Harvey Oswald was inrolled in the Marines. He was given the sharpshooter status. Lee Harvey met his wife Marina in Russia when he lived in the Soviet Union. They later had a baby girl, June. He was not a good husband. Oswald beat his wife and was very abusive. He was eventually allowed back into the United States along with his wife Marina and baby, June.On the day of the assassination he set up boxes in the window so the rifle would not be seen. He bought a Mannlicher Carcano-Rifle. After the assassination, Oswald went to a separate apartment, not the one where he lived with Marina, and gets another gun. He goes back to the Texas School Book Depository and shoots JP Tippet seven times, three miss. JP Tippet dies later on. Oswald then goes to a shoe store and the owner of the shoe store is suspicious. He paces around, looks nervous, then leaves and heads for the Dallas Theatre. Battle Cry was the name of the movie that was playing. The theatre was where the arrest takes place of Oswald. Interrogation was done by Caption Will Fritz. Oswald talks to the press and says '' I'm just a patsy." Which means Oswald was trying to say that he is just a set up, he wasn't really the man behind the gun. Oswald was later shot by Jack Ruby, also known as Jacob Rubenstein.Later, Jacob Rubenstein changed his name to Jack Ruby because Rubenstein was a german decent name. German's were frowned upon. Ruby owned a strip club. He took donuts to police men almost everyday. It is known that Ruby shot Oswald for Mrs. Kennedy. When he goes to shoot Oswald, he leaves his dog in the car and enters the building where Oswald is located. Oswald is sent to the same hospital, Parkland Hospital, where Kennedy was also being hospitalized.
