Today in CWI, to start the class, Mr. Bruns spoke again about the ITEDs, the test that seems to hang above our heads like a dark and menacing cloud. After this, we went over the Europe Map and the future test questions. Honestly, I'm not really looking forward to the test, but I did volunteer to go on Friday...Now, on top of everything else, I have to study. Then, we segued into the nifty democrat/republican slide show. To start this, we breifly discussed how Al Gore, in 2000, won the popular vote but did not, obviously, win the election. This is due to the electoral college system, one that many people are not too thrilled with. One of the main discussions involved the theory that where you come from, defines what you believe. This of course makes sense. Generally, people from the south are more conservative, more religious. This supports the belief that those from the south are, mostly, republican. I really hadn't looked at that much, but yes, it really is true. Also, on a side note, Drea was ON TOP of her game today....It must be the hair.
