When I was driving on my way back from Florida, my family and I stopped in Chattenooga and went to Ruby Falls. It is a waterfall that is inside of a mountain. The guide told us that because the waterfall starts so deep inside the mountain, nobody actually knows where the water comes from. They assume that it comes from runnoff and rainfall from on the mountain.
