Google is being sued surprising i know but the reason they are being sued is for their deceptive tactics around disclosing location data and how its being collected. The person who sued them was Atterney Genral Paxton for unlawfully capturing and using data without their consent. In 2018 Another incedent happened where approximately 52.5million personal data They were sued for 85 million dollars. They also have collected millions of biometric identifiers, including voiceprints and records of face geometry, from Texans through its products and services like Google Photos, Google Assistant, and Nest Hub Max. Google’s exploitation of the personal information of Texans for its own commercial interests is a knowing violation of the state’s Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act. Google’s indiscriminate collection of the personal information of Texans, including very sensitive information like biometric identifiers, will not be tolerated,” Attorney General Paxton said. he will continue to fight Big Tech to ensure the privacy and security of all Texans. I think that google has gotten too much power and should be restricted. I think that google is using your searches and are now getting into your personal information and they shouldnt be able too. I htink that google should be restricted and should have certain rules that they can follow and should be monitored on them.
In my opinion, I think google is using your searches and getting the information they really don't need to be collecting. It would affect our economy if google was sued and shut down as we use it every day. If they aren't following the rules they need to them they should be sued.
I think that google is too big and is taking a lot of information that is not needed to be colected. I think that google has a monopoly and people just dont see it yet, and I think someone or thing should contain google and keep are information safe.
I think that Google should get sued for monopolizing the internet. It can be hard to sue Google but it will expose all that they have done. We use Google every day whether we are in school or out. It would take a toll if we didn't have Google but we all have rules we need to follow. Hopefully by suing it will make sure non of our information gets out.
I think that some of the data that Google collects is not reasonable. Some of the information they collect shouldn't be needed from them in particular. I think being sued is good because it exposes them for what they are doing. It will hopefully make them do better and protect people's information.
