Uber Eats driver suspected as the killer of a customer

Around 11:30 pm on Saturday night a Uber Eats driver was suspected as the killer of one of the customers. The Uber Eats driver delievered the food to the customer around 11:30 on saturday night with the customer not expecting anything else besides his food. As the customer got his order of food he started to head back into his house before the man and the Uber Eats delivery guy exchanged words and the Uber Eats driver started to fire shots at the man and sped off in a white volkswagen and was not yet identified.

1- As a company how would you react to something like this happening?

I would be very embarrased and sorry knowing that one of the workers for the company would do something like this.

2- Would you ever order from Uber Eats after this happened?

I would probably not order Uber Eats after hearing about something like this because you couldn't trust who would be delivering your food.

  • Good overall. You could have commented more freuqently but not bad. Your summary is also a bit brief.

  • 1. I would be very upset and horrible that one of the employees would do something like this. I would feel angry at the driver for killing a customer and blackening the company's name. I would also feel very sorry for the family of the customer.

    2. I wouldn't order from them again because of this incident. I would feel bad for not trusting Uber Eats anymore, but really I wouldn't be able to help it. I'd also be skeptical any time I ordered food and had it delievered to my door.

    • The company should be very upset and embarrased that one of there workers would do something like that. I also would not order from that business again after something like that happened

  • I would take this situation very seriously if I were the manager of this comany, or a worker for that matter. If I were in charge, I would obviously fire the dude, and I would interview people more in depth before hiring them. I mean, you never know what could happen. You could be at a restaruant or at a store, and you could get shot..It could happen anywhere, anytime. I wouldn't want to live my life in fear, so I probably would still use Uber Eats.

  • I would fire this person and require thorough background check on any of my employees. I probably wouldn't use Uber Eats anymore just because of that danger and I don't mind cooking my own food I don't have to order out and have it delivered.

  • If I was part of this company, I don't know what I would think. I may have been mad, or scared, or both but I would definetly want out of it. I would not like the chance of being killed myself. I also wouldn't eat from there for a while until things were cleaned up.

  • 1. I think I would start to question all my emplyees and look for any other hints or something to make sure this was a one-time thing. It's shocking to know that things like that can happen.

    2. Yes, I think I can't do without Ubers and you can never be safe.

  • As a company I would try to make more restrictions on who we hire like doctor exams or search if this person have broken  the law before  because this situations  can not happen again.

I would probably still order Ubereats if I need it because this could happen to any company not just Uber.Crazy people are everywhere and is just luck if we cross path with them or not.

  • 1. If it is shown that the murderer works in the company I would talk to the family and ask for forgiveness in addition to what was necessary and then I would make much more restrictive controls when hiring people in my company.

    2. Not all people are equal and we can not blame all workers for an act of a bad person, it is not fair. I do not usually use this type of services, but if I needed it and uber eats was available I would use it.

    • I think that the company should make there rules a lot stricter so something doesn't happen again. I would possibly reconsider using this app if I needed food or something.
