So this topic is great for CWI bit for US History it should be US History related. The issue is you didn't reply to any student comments and it is three days late.
I don't think that they need to be armed. I am not completely against this though I think that we could find other ways before we have or teachers pull out a weapon. I think that they should pass a law and have many different types of trainings.
I think that teachers should be armed because if they are I would feel a lot safer. I think that if it came down to it and a teacher needed to take out a school shooter it wouldn't be a bad idea. I think that the teachers should have some sort of training before having a gun.

I think that as long as they properly train the teacher then it would be a good idea for teachers to carry guns because school shooters may think more about weather or not they are going to go through with their attack. The teachers with guns would also limit the amout of damage a shooter could cause.
I don't have a problem with the teachers or staff being armed during the school day. I would like to see the state of iowa pass the bill to allow them to carry during school. I think the only way they should be able to be able to carry would be if they did get training.
I don't think teachers need to be armed. Even if the gun is locked up someone could still get into the safe or whatever it's in. I think Iowa will pass this bill but have a lot of training and classes. If the teacher has a gun I hope that they are trained well and have it locked up in a safe place.
I think that teachers should be armed. I think that in order for this to happen, extensive backround checks should be done to insure that people are not frightened with the wrong teacher with a gun. I think that the teachers shoudl 100% be trained before given the order to carry.
