There are some who say that Pit Bulls should be illegal in the U.S. because of they are vicious and kill people and animals. I think this is completely incorrect. I believe they have been taken for granted. They and other dog breeds have been given a bad reputation because of criminals. These felons have taken advantage of them and used them illegally in dog fights. It isn't their fault. Not only that, but they were also originally made as helping dogs. They have no feeling in their necks because of little kids who pull and tug because their main purpose was to be nannies. People do say that they still have the ability, do these horrible things, and that they have and are still used for illegal dog fights, so banning them overall would just solve accidents and injuries. This is inaccurate due to the fact that Pit Bull's behhavior is fully dependent on the owner or guardian. Just like any other dog if you treat it horribly it will act out horribly. Why are Pit Bulls being treated any differently than any other dog? I don't think that they should be banned and that they should be appreciated.

I do not think that pit bulls should be banned because I do not think that they cause any harm I just think that some of the people that own them are not the best owners. I do not think however I would ever own a pitbull because I do not see the point of having one.
I do not think pit bulls deserve the repuatation that they have been given because like I said before it is maily up to the owner on how the dog acts and I dont think that there should be any laws againts pit bulls and how need certain fences and certan collers.
I would want to own a pit bull in the future but right not I dont really want one because I curentlly have two other dogs so I think that it would be very good idea to have another dog around when I already have two pretty hyper dogs already.

Pit Bulls should not be banned because all dogs can be trained. While yes, some are easier to train than others and Pit Bulls fall within the difficult to train category it isn't impossible. I personally wouldn't go out and get a Pit Bull as that simply isn't my style of dog, I prefer the dogs that are medium size and relaxed. Pit Bulls don't deserve the reputation they are getting simply because their a little aggressive, we've blown that statement out of the water and it's time to bring it back down.
I agree with you, and yes maybe it is dificult, but if they really are such a big problem I think we should take the time out of our day to try our best so we don't have any more of these accidents, and I also agree with you that them being "vicious" and "aggressive" and been overexaggerated.
No I dont think that they should be banned because they have like you said had a bad reputation with humans but there is obviously good pit bulls. Would I ever own a pit bull yes because I already have one and they are very energetic and fun to play with also no they dont and will never deserve the reputation that they have.
I think that as long as the owner is trusted and perfectly able to take care of any dog for that matter than they should be able to keep a pit bull. Yes, it's true you don't hear many great things at all about these types of dogs but maybe there is something that can be done about it.
No, I do not think Pitbulls should be a band I think people can be annoying to people about people with a pit bull. I do not know if i would every own a pitbull i would need to look into it more and learn about the dog but every dog can be dangoures if they are not trained right.
