the white house has always alowed pets. in the time of "Josiah" the Badger, 1903 (From the collection of Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, National Park Service) there was a bager as a pet. but after that it was mostly dogs galor. there has never been a pitbull as a pet in the white house there where snoshers and ,duchhounds and many others. maybe a few cats have also been there in the white house. I would definetly have a pet. I love animals. What could be better than to have one in the White House? I think I wouldn't have a tiger or anything agressive like that. But, it would be cool to have something like a farm animal like a pig or a horse, or something like that which wouldn't claw your eyes out if you got to close to it and it didn't like it. I think it's pretty cool that they let presidents have pets during their term.

Yes I would definitely have a pet in the White House animals are awesome and they are like family. If I were the president I would just stick to the normal animals because then I would have to pay someone to tame and trane the wild animal and some of those animals dont listen and could hurt me or someone else in the White House.
