Inside the office of St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio the pastor William Schooler at age 70 was shot by his brother Daniel Schooler. William Schooler was the only target. The shooter sat down during a prayer time at church and after wards followed the pastor and a few minutes later they heard gun shoots. At this point Daniel Schooler hasn't given a reason for doing this.
After a experience like this would you be scared to go into a church?
What do you think the punishment should be for this crime?
Why do you think anyone would kill their brother in a church?
I would be far more careful in any place public after that. I think that the shooter Daniel Schooler should at least get get life if not the death penalty. I could never understand why anyone would do something like this it is just wrong.

I wouldn't be more scared about going into a church in general, but in that particular church I wouldn't even think about going in there. Searching for a new church would be the best move for the people of that community. The minimum punishment should be life in prison, possibly the death penalty Like you said, there is no reason why he killed his brother and I guessing it was some sort of family issue.
That is a very scary thing and I would be very cautious going to church and maybe try to find a new church. But it seems like a very odd occurrence and I don't think it would happen again but you can never be too careful. This is a very serious crime and I think he should spend a long sentence in jail. I don't know why someone would do such a terrible thing but maybe they got into a huge fight and the brother couldn't handle the rage.
No I would never be afraid of entering a church no matter what happened. I think this should be a life in prison charge because we need to get the murders and criminals away from innocent people. I think the shooter must have had some mental health issues and just went out of control and maybe his brother had done something recently to push him over the edge.
No I don't feel like anyone is going to shoot me in church. He should probably spend 50 years- Life in jail. Maybe he was extremely mad at him or he had some issues in his head.
No, I feel very safe where I go to church at and I just feel safe around Jesus. He should go to jail and spend years in there unless he had a very good reason to shoot his brother. Maybe he was mentally unstable or his brother did something very bad to him.
No, it would not scare me at all because I know I'm safe where I go to church. Go to jail and do community service for the rest of his life. He was probably jealous of him because he was the most liked in the family or something like that.
Just jail and community service would be a easy punishment for a crime going into a place and shooting your brother that is not right at all. I would rather he have the death penalty then ever have another chance of harming someone.
I would be a little scared to into that church, but I will still go to the church I normally go to. I believe they should just give him the normal punishment for murder. Maybe he killed his brother because he had jealousy, but its bad that you kill your own family members. Family is supposed to be everything.
