On Sunday morning, 15 people where shot at a night club in Miami. Most of the 15 people were teenagers. The ages went from 11- 25 years old. The police say that the shooting happened at 1 a.m. They were all wounded and one in critical condition. The police do not know if there was more than one shooter. Many people said that they herd over 100 gun shots. Since there was so many people wounded, all the emergency responder had to help the wounded on the sidewalk. Then all the wounded teens went to a local hospital.
I think that teens should not be allowed in night clubs.
Do you think that clubs should allow just any age into them? What should the appropriate age be? Do you think the club owners should change some things to make sure that everyone is safe? If so, what could they do?

I think that the age should be at least 18 years of age. I think that the club should have security people who check people for weapons or just be there to watch over the club.
I agree that people under 21 shouldn't be able to go to night clubs because of things that happen in them and also they might get in trouble for drinking, I think that they have to change the age limit to be able to go in the club.
I think that is outrageous that they let an 11 year old in!!! I don't care if there was an adult with them or not, i think that is crazy, especially that the parent would even let their child go. I think they should either have to be 18 because that is the age that teenagers are now seen as adults, or they should have to be 21 because that is the legal drinking age. I think there could be way more that clubs/bars could do to keep the people safe, I mean when people get drunk and crazy they will do almost anything. The owners should check the people who go into the clubs to see if they have weapons or anything they shouldn't have.
I agree with you when people get crazy when they drink too much because they have no idea what they are doing and they won't remember anything.
First of all, the fact that an 11 year was allowed to get into a night club is ridiculous. I don't think people should be allowed to get into one until they are at least 18 years old, so whoever let someone in that young needs to be taken into question on what they were thinking. To ensure the safety of people I think that they should have more security on hand and also stricter rules and age restrictions for people to be allowed into the clubs.
Umm I think night clubs are ok with no drinking. I think they should have like a dancing club for only underage of certain and then 21 and older club. I think they should change things to keep everyone safe.
I don't think clubs should let people in until they are 21, you can't drink until you are 21 anyway! I think that people need to do like security checks, or making sure that nobody has any weapons before they enter the club.
I'm not sure what kind of club it was that allowed an eleven year old in: Either it was not a night club or was a very sketchy night club, so I wouldn't want to speak too much to what all clubs should be doing (in answer to your first question. However, as a general rule for non-sketchy night clubs, I think someone age 18 or older should be let in, but they can't drink until they're 21. The owners of the club you are speaking to; however, should probably change some security measures and stop letting children in, especially if this is a legitimate night club allowing 11 year olds to come in.
I think that they should have better security laws and ban guns and weapons from the clubs. Only people 21 and older should be allowed in the club because being there at the age of 11 is just too young and a lot for your body to handle.
