Today in Kansas City three people were shot and killed at two Jewish facilities. Near an elementary school, a man in his seventies, was found after the shooting. They are not sure if it was a hate crime yet, but it seems so. The victims were a teen and an elderly woman. It didn't say the third victim.
I think crimes because of hate, or because of someone's religion need to stop. That you can't blame on mental issues. What do you think about hate crimes? Should teachers be able to have guns? If you think they should be able to carry, why?

This is ridiculous and people need to realize it's the 21st century. Teachers should be able to carry to some extent, b/c if it got into the wrong hands it could cause more harm than good.
I agree that hate crimes need to go. At this point in the world hate crimes and inequality need to go. I don't think giving teachers guns is a good idea. Students could attack the teachers and then take their guns.
People just need to accept each other for who they are and what they believe. I don't think teachers should be able to have guns I get they are for safety but I think that someone could use it for more than that and really hurt someone.
I think hate crimes are because someone hates that person or the thing and i think teachers should and shouldnt have guns because a kid can grab the gun and shoot people and because they can kill like someone that is trying to harm someone else with a gun
Yes I think it could stop crime in schools by some. I think that the teachers would need to take a gun course and have the gun locked and student proof. Hate crimes i think are bad let alone any crimes.
I agree with you! I don't think teachers should be able to have guns. I know that school shootings are a rising issue, but there are other ways to protect children besides giving every teacher a gun and going through training to use a gun, etc.
Hate crimes are just hateful! they are wrong on so many levels
I think we need to stop being so mean to people who are different from us. All these hate crimes need to stop. I hope the younger generation can be more kind to others.
I would feel safer if teachers could have a gun, but they would have to make sure no student would get a hold of it, because that could cause a school shooting. If teachers could have a gun, they could maybe protect students and other staff members better.
