History of LIV golf

The start of the new LIV Golf has been pretty exciting! LIV Golf is a professional golf league that aims to bring a fresh and innovative approach to the sport. It features a unique team format where players compete in team events and individual tournaments.

One of the highlights of LIV Golf is the involvement of top golfers like Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, and Lexi Thompson. These world-class players bring their skills and competitive spirit to the league, making it even more thrilling to watch.

LIV Golf also introduces some interesting changes to the traditional golf format. For example, they have a shot clock to keep the pace of play fast and exciting. Additionally, they have a bonus zone on the course where players can earn extra points, adding a strategic element to the game.

The league has also partnered with various sponsors and brands, which has brought in additional support and resources for the players and the events. This allows LIV Golf to offer substantial prize money, making it an attractive option for both established and up-and-coming golfers.

It's true that not everyone is fully on board with the new LIV Golf concept. Change can sometimes be met with resistance, especially in a sport as traditional as golf. Some people may feel that the league is deviating too much from the traditional format and values of the game.

It's important to remember that any new venture will have its critics and challenges. LIV Golf is still in its early stages, and it's natural for there to be differing opinions. However, it's also worth noting that change and innovation can often lead to exciting developments and improvements.

While some people may be frustrated with LIV Golf, it's also worth considering the positive aspects that the league brings. It offers a fresh take on the game, introduces new formats, and brings together top golfers to compete in a team-based setting. These elements have the potential to attract new fans and create a more dynamic viewing.

Overall, the start of the new LIV Golf has been met with enthusiasm from fans and players alike. It's an exciting time for the sport, and I can't wait to see how it continues to evolve and captivate audiences.

  • Good topic choice Owen! Your summary is good but what are your thoughts about LIV? The big issue is you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.

  • I play golf in the summertime and I enjoy it very much, but I am not really good. Yes, I do think this would make me interested and maybe even a better player. Something to make me more interested would not to have so many obstacles because I seem to hit them the most when I play.

  • No, but I would love to start golfing in my spare time i have alwasy thought it was a interesting sport. I think Golf woul dbe more interesting to me if it was easier to hit a good ball  all th eitme but i guess thats what makes the sport challenging.

  • I have played golf once and I somewhat find golf interesting, but when I played it I wasn't the best. I don't think anything would really make me more interested in golf

  • I don't play golf anymore just because I wasn't good at it. I just don't find golf interesting enough so no it wouldn't. Probably nothing would make me interested in golf just because i'm not a golf person.

  • I do not play golf but I have in the past. I don't really think this would make me more interested in golf because I don't find golf very fun at all anymore. I don't know what would make me more invested in the sport.

  • I have never played golf, but it looks very relaxing and fun. However, I can't really see myself liking it very much. I think these rules would make the game more fun, for example, the shot clock would speed the game up and add some tension to the game.

  • I do play golf, I enjoy gofing with freinds and family. I think that this would probably make golf more intresting and better. Persanaly i would take out all of the trees on the golf course because my ball always seems to find a tree and get stuck in the trees. i think that would make golf better.

  • I do not play golf and I dont have any interest in playing golf. Although I do enjoy watching other people play gold and riding around in the golf cart. I dont think this would make me more interested in playing golf just because I know I would not be good at it.

  • I don't personally play golf, but I think if somebody taught me how I would really learn to enjoy playing golf. I think that LIV golf would help me become a better golf player if I watched some of the players. The reason I think golf is cool is because my friends play it and it looks pretty fun.
