When people started hearing rumors that rapper Eminem might drop a new album, his fans stared to flash back to Shady's good ol' days. With tantalizing tastes from him dissing President Donald Trump, to his recent release of Walk on Water, his fans were exited for an album release. This was rumored to happen on 11/17/15, but it didn't. To be honest, Eminem never said it would drop on this day. He never teased about any release date. This was all the media. K. Dot has hinted about a April 7th release date, but many fans don't want to be played into staying up until midnight for another disappointment again, though many of them probably will. The fan's reactions are the most interesting part, how some of them were threatening to commit suicide if an album wasn't dropped by midnight, or threatening to give up hope for a new Eminem album. Fans used #Eminem and #Revival to put in their input on this, and lit up Twitter late at night. Many people are wondering if Slim will ever return to his days of fame, but we may never find out. Many of his fans will be waiting for April 7th desperately.

1) How would you feel if your favorite artist's album didn't drop when you were expecting it?

I was angry at first, then a little sad, but I got over it, because i figured that Shady's album will be worth the 3 year wait.

2) Do you think you can trust Media's rumors? Why or why not?

I did, but not anymore. I probably fall for it again, but that's just the power that they have over people.

  • Good job overall but just be sure to comment more regularly.

  • I would be mad, but also understanding because sometimes things come up like sickness and you cant do things for a couple of days and never get caught up. Not all the time because I feel like people would say things about others when mad and they do

  • 1. I would be very upset, but not enough that I would commit suicide over it. I got really worked up for Imagine Dragons' new album "Evolve", and when it finally released I was so happy. If it didn't release like Eminem's album didn't, I would be crushed.

    2. It's always best to do research and find out if things are actually facts and rumors. If I were an Eminem fan (I don't listen to his music), I would try to get as much info as I could on the album.

  • I wouldn't really be too upset. I mean making music takes a lot of time and a lot of hard work into it. I would kinda be a little sad but like I would get all worked up over it. There's so much media and so much fake news, I'm not even sure what to believe. But you don't know what's real or fake so you just kind of have to go along with it I guess.

    • Well, it's pretty depressing for people like me who hold Marshall Mathers in high esteem. I understand some people don't appreciate good music, and think that they don't fall for the Internets pranks like other people.

  • I would be sad because I would be excited to listen to their new music. No, I don't think you can trust what the media says because they make stuff up most of the time and when they don't make stuff up they exaggerate.

  • 1.  I would be going crazy that it didn't come out from the rumor date

    2. no, sometime they are reliable but most time they aren't accurate

  • Well id be pretty sad and impatient since its taking them so long to drop the album. Well if its like trump says, then it could be fake news and you never know if someone is telling the truth unless you get it straight from the source.

  • 1. I wouldn't be devastated, the music comes when it does, you cant force creativity, it just flows whenever it wants

    2. No, because of many fake news incidents and the extreme amount of lies on the internet

  • I would be dissaponted and sad that it was not dropped on time. I think you can trust some media rumors but not until you get all the facts.
