There was a mass stabbing in China on March 1st that ended with 31 killed and another 100 injured in Train station attack. There was 5 people walking in a mall stabbing anyone in their way 2 of the murders were women. The first things that comes to mind is why someone wasn't able to stop the people with knives but the police do not have a guns. Their has been many other terrorist attacks in China the past couple months they believe this is connected to this mass murder.
Why wouldn't the police have guns after all of these terrorist attacks?

The cops should have guns because of these acts. The people shouldn't have been able to kill 31 without being stopped.
I don't know why it don't make sense to me. There should be a step up in security to put a stop to these horrible acts of violence. Something needs to be done, and police should be armed and be ready to deal with conflict. They need the proper tools to end this mass killing.
I agree with Emilio, the cops can't do their job if they don't have the right tools.
This is a very big topic In china and i believe the cops should have guns. clearly asking the terrorists to stop is not going to help. they need to be gunned down if necassary
It may be against their ruling or beliefs, or they just don't have the money to provide all the guns and training needed to carry them and don't want to deal with shooting problems like in the Micheal Brown case involving Officer Wilson.
They might not to spend money on guns and have to pay for everyone's licenses...
It might be against there rules in China. But I think they should probably look into it and maybe consider it.
Maybe China has different laws than the US. But, maybe the terrorists are armed with better weapons than the police, or maybe the terrorists have a way of stealing the weapons. Also, they could kill anyone with a weapon so maybe the police are playing it safe and doing what they demand.
