I think electric cars are better for the environment but not overall because there is pros and cons to them. I would rather have a gas powered car over an electric car because I am more used to a gas powered veichle. I have a Chrysler 200 that I like a lot and it runs nice.

Maybe, Electic cars do have the ability to create more torque. They are more eco-friendly, however they could never replace gas/desil powered cars/trucks. Desil vehicals, generate more torque and horsepower than gas powered trucks, plus the sounds that gas powered cars generate are heavanly.
Although electric cars are very expensive I do believe they are better. They run on electricity which we have an unlimited amount of gas made out of limited materials. However, they aren't very strong cars which becomes a problem for people who pull trailers on their trucks.
