Daryl Clark, a middle school teacher and softball coach in Omaha appeared in court today, Friday, December 2, 2016. He was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of a felony of sexual assault of a child. The case broke through when the mother of the victim came home and found her daughter and Daryl in bed. To everyone this definitely comes off as surprising, but there is evidence of previous history between the two. Investigators reportedly found nude photos that Clark had sent to the victim. Everyone in the neighborhood and school district is shocked at the moment, but to Tony Larry, the president of the fast pitch softball organization, "this comes from left field." Larry is very surprised because Clark was a person he had a lot of trust within. As of right now, Clark's bond is at $2.5 million dollars, and if convicted, Clark will face 20 years to life in prison.
1. Do you think Clark's sentence is deserving of his actions?

I greatly believe that Clark's sentence is very deserving because he committed a terrible crime. Sometimes you can have a little sympathy for robbers, or other criminals, but definitely not in this case. I'm not really sure what would lead a 46 year-old man to have a relationship with a 16 year old, but I think he needs to get checked out, which will probably happen in prison.

He deserves the maximum sentence for this horrendous crime. He is completely deserving of this punishment. I couldn't possibly imagine what could make a man do something so awful. Clark must have something very wrong with him.
Yes, this is a sick story and should never happen to anyone. Well I think the girl had something to do with it too. Which is disturbing. Maybe the girl led him on.
Yes, I think that it is a deserving punishment I don't know that is a horrible thing to do and he's an adult he should know better than to do this.
This type of action and crime is absolutely repulsive. There was no need for this and it is sickening. Being a grown man, he should have know that what he was doing was extremely wrong. I have no idea what would drive a person to do this. Like I said before, this type of story just makes me disgusted with the criminal.
Its hard to say what could lead a person to do such a thing, but clearly it has something to do with his mental status and possibly he isn't getting enough attention form a women other than the girls on the softball team. As for his sentence I would have to know how the girl took being in bed with him, otherwise yes i think He deserves what he got.
I think that it is deserving, I don't know why they would do that, he is 4 he should've known better along with the girl she should've also.

I think that it is deserving. He probably knew the consequences if he did get caught, and he's the one that took the chance. It is so scary hearing all of these stories about teachers and coaches getting caught for sexual assault. I think he probably liked her. Also, I think some do it to get attention and other's don't really have an explanation. I don't know what I would do if that was my kid.
