He taught himself to read at the age of three. By elementary school he was working on building an ATM for a school project. At the age of 19 he was a builder for Reddit, a social news site. He turned into a millionare before he was legal to drink. In 2011 he led a successful campaign to prevent the online piracy act. He was so smart. He through it away to hack a school for information. JSTOR had a lot of information that he wanted I guess. He downloaded almost 5 million documents from JSTOR. He was arrested and then the reason why he did it "Information is power. But like all power, there are those who want to keep it for themselves. Friends of Swartz found him dead in his Crown Heights apartment. Now there is a bill called "Aaron's Law"
Why do you think he hacked the school?
I think he just didn't want them to have that much information. He was scared about what they were going to do with what they had.
How old were you when you learned to read?
About 4-5 when I could make sense and talk for long period of time.

Good job overall. Be sure to comment more frequently as you only commented on two different days instead of three.
He could have done it for many reasons. Maybe he did it to get the information to use against them or to prevent them from using it. I don't remember how old I was when I started to read. I may have been around 4 or so.
To hack a school's database and downloading 5 million documents is actually insane, I would never imagine such a thing. So here it says he learned to read at 3, I didn't get my glasses until I was 3. He could read while I was quite likely nearly blind.
The kid probably want to have knowledge in his brain. It seems like he just like know this kinds of things. It really weird how he taught himself how to read when he was 4-5 maybe could of lied to get the attention.
I think he probably hacked because he didn't want the documents to only be viewed by the school. He probably believed that information should be accessible for everyone and not just a few group of people. Maybe he is just so smart that he saw something that we, as normal people, cannot.
He probably wanted the knowledge. He had a clear thrust for knowledge and was clearly willing to do whatever it took to obtain it. He probably also felt that it was wrong for all JSTOR and many other places to withhold the information. I was 3 going on 4 when I learned to read.
I think that he maybe had a bad reputation as a student there or something, and maybe he didn't like what the school was teaching or something. I think that I was reading between 4-5, but i can't remember.
Maybe there was something he wanted to know that the school didn't want to know. Maybe something that the school didn't want to get out that could have their school closed down something of that sort. He also said something about power maybe he wanted them to get cought with something so he had more power then they did. I actually don't know when i started reading. I never thought to ask my mom that.
I think he may of had something on his name or grades that he didnt like or want people to find out. He also could ahve wanted to find something about someone specific. I was maybe 5 I cant really remember, but I definatly wasnt reading at the age of three.
I think that they might have some things that he does not want other people to find out about or know about him. I can not remember the first time I was taught to read so I would say that it was when I was about 4-5
