I think a good time is right before thanksgiving or a few days after thanksgiving that give you time to enjoy your Christmas tree still for a while but not too early. So that will give you time to clean your house between holidays to clean your house before putting up your Christmas tree

Personally, I think that a good time to put up a christmas tree is the day after thanksgiving. A lot of people say that thanksgiving isn't really important and put up after halloween, but I think that halloween and thansgiving are both on the same level of unimportance. I think that it's more of an opinion topic, and it just depends on the person.
My family puts our Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I like putting our Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving because it's tradition but also because then you can have your Thanksgiving/Fall decorations up for Thanksgiving. We two Christmas trees up in our house, one big one in the living room and a small one in the basement.
Right after Halloween, Thanksgiving isnt really all that but as soon as possible. its nice to be in the Christmas spirit early, We only put up one big tree in the second room infront of the house but its nice and festive.
