Walt Disney World has switched the "Do Not Disturb" signs to "room Occupied" signs in multiple hotels in Florida. This is because Disney is allowing maintenance and housekeeping staff to go into the rooms every day. Before entering the room they will have to knock and let you know they are there. Sp now the Disney Resort hotel and its staff now has the right to enter the room even if the sign is on your door. This new rule is implemented for safety, security, maintenance, and other reasons also. Other hotels are now starting to change their signs too because Walt Disney Hotels are doing it.

I don't think all hotels will change their signs but it is kind of a chain reaction so it might happen in a lot of hotels definitely because if big hotels are doing it then little hotels will do it too.

I don' think they shouldn't change their signs because the people in the hotel rooms deserve their privacy and they should be allowed the fact of privacy.

I hope they don't change the signs. Because it invades our privacy as guest. Would you like someone going in you room during the night, or when you are in the shower.
I think that if they want these rules the should have consent from the guest. But making it clear that they are okay with their decision.
I think that maybe some hotels might change their signs, but I don't think all of them would. I'm sure most hotels want to keep their hotel safe, but if it's a bigger hotel, then I would say they would only for safety services. I personally don't think they should change their signs because people deserve their privacy.
I don't they should change the signs I believe people should have privacy in a hotel. When you go to a hotel on a vacation, you normally go to get away from everything and just relax and nice, quiet time. So people should have their own privacy.
Yes I agree that hotel guests should be able to have their own privacy and relaxation time to a certain extent. I also understand why they are changing the signs for safety reasons and issues because I do believe these signs will help prevent bad situations that happen like what happened in LA.
Just depends and honestly its not even that big of a deal. No honestly if they announce they come in they should be fine. Yes people like privacy, if you want privacy put the sign on the door. Its not that hard. I don't think people will be outraged by this at all.
Yes I agree if they announce their presence and knock before entering it should be fine but I do think some people will be mad because they like their privacy and want their privacy. I'm sure if you have the sign up they will come back at another time because they don't want to intrude either.
I think all hotels with enough funds to change the signs will follow Disney's footsteps simply because they can and want to copy a high-end hotel chain. In my opinion, I think that if someone is paying hundreds of dollars to stay at a hotel, they should be allowed their privacy if they request it, without hotel employees intruding.
Yes your right that a lot of hotels will change their signs because Walt Disney hotels are doing it but I don't think that necessary all of them will. I agree that if your spending the money to stay in a hotel like that you should be allowed your own privacy to an extent but I think it is a good idea to check hotel rooms out every day because of what happened in LA.
