Snapchat annocued on Wednesday that it will give celeberty users and those that are social media influencers more information on how there posts are doing. The data will show the story views and how long/time user spent viewing the post. Before this change is made, all they can see is the total views of their story. Brands and people are less likely to use a program that wont show them this detailed information because they want to know if the message was reached. Also to see what kinds of people its influencing. Instagram has provided this data to users since May 2016. This is an effort by Snapchat to pull back users that have migrated to Instagram.
Questions-
Do you think celeberies will like this data back from Snapchat?
Which app do you prefer, Snapchat or Instagram?
My Opinion-
I think that celeberties look for stuff like this, so yes I think this will be something to pull them back to use Snapchat. I like Snapchat over Instagram because it is fun to have group chats but also have just convertations with people with pictures. I think Snapchat and Instagram have many similarities that I like so it is kinda hard to choose.

Yes I think that celebrities will like to know how long fans are looking at what they post because then they will know if people are actully watching or just skipping through. I prefer snapchat over instagram because I can talk to people on snapchat and there's groupchats with friends. I feel like I only prefer snapchat over Instagram because I use Snapchat a lot more, but the two apps do have a lot of similar features.
I think that celebrities will like this new feature to Snapchat because it will give them a better sense of how they are projecting to their viewers based on how long they view it. I personally like Instagram for learning about peoples' lives and Snapchat for communication.
I think celebrities will like the change even tyhough it is extremely unessesary. It really doesn't benefit the daily users. It just says how popular they are and who is watching them. Maybe some pompus people will like to know how much attention they get. I feel like Snapchat and Instagram should focus more on making their platforms better for everyone instead of celebrities.
1. In my opinion nobody will care about that, it does not matter if you are famous or not, moreover I do not think that is necessary to know who is watching your snapchats and for how long.
2. I do not like social medias, I just have one social media, but if I need to choose I think that I prefer to use Instagram, because looks clear, snapchat it's a completly mess, and you can not do to much about that.
Yes, I think they will like it to have more information about their followers and -like Snapchat says- to have more information about whom they reached.
I use both of the Apps, so I don't prefer one, but I don't like the fact that they are getting to about the same app.
I think that some people will but I don't really know if regular users like us will get that option because that's all I really care about. I prefer both it depends on what I am wanting to do. If it is text people then I prefer snap but if I want to see posts its instagram.
I think that a lot of celebrities enjoy this feedback from Instagram, so they would probably like having information come from Snapchat too. But, I don't think that celebrities will choose Snapchat over Instagram because Snapchat is more for communication between people, instead of spreading a message or posting pictures on Instagram. I like talking to my friends on snapchat, but I also enjoy looking at pictures and funny videos on Instagram.
I think that some of them will like the youtubers but like the accual acters wont care if snapchatt wanted more people back they shound get rid of the update. I prefer instagram because there is more to do on it.
In the long run, I think this is a very good idea for Snapchat because celebreraties do look for this type of feedback. I'm actually surprised that Snapchat has not addressed the issue sooner. Personally, I like Snapchat and Instagram, and to me they are very differnent social media apps.
