Should you decorate for Christmas around November 1st? Most people will argue that putting up Christmas decorations at the beginning of the month is too early and it interferes with Thanksgiving. But, some people like the thought of Christmas being longer and to enjoy setting up lots of lights and decor. When November st comes around I think its all up to personal prefrences.
The people who chose to not decorate too ealry is usally because it is still fall and Thanksgiving is coming up shortley. Another reason is when tempetures arent freezing cold just yet. Some people also feel pressure because of all of the plans they have during Christmas time. They prefer to not rush into things and slowly move into this big holiday. Or in the end they might just want to take each season or holdiay at their own pace.
On the other hand, the people who like to set up their Christmas trees and be joyful, love to celebrate early and choose to do the tradition at the very beginning of November. To some, setting up for Christmas right after Haloween can bring great joy and Christmas spirit. At the start of November it is a way to have an extended season and make the holiday last.
Personally, I think that it depends on the person. There are lots of different opinions about when to start celebrating and getting ready for this holiday. I don't think that there is a right or wrong answer.

Festive topic choice! Your summare is fine but discuss the history of putting up decorations as well. You didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I personally do not think Christmas should be decorated around November 1st. I think Christmas should be properly decorated for anytime after Thanksgiving, I think this because Thanksgiving deserves to be celebrated as well. I think Christmas is typically always decorated way to early by most families.
I think that everyone should place their trees whenever they feel like it, in my opinion, I don't think that decorating on the first day of November is a bad idea but it will also depend on the type of person you are, in my case, I would like to decorate in November to feel the Christmas season and the Christmas break.
I don't think it matters when you wanna decorate for christmas. It's a lot of work putting up all the decorations so starting early isn't a bad idea, plus Christmas is a huge holiday so I think it deserves the most hype.
I really don't see the problem with it, even though it is right before another holiday. But personally, I think Christmas is just a bigger and better holiday than Thanksgiving. Plus, lots of people just get really excited for Christmas and may even love to decorate for it.
I think the proper time to decorate for Christmas is after Thanksgiving. I think the proper time to decorate for Christmas is after Thanksgiving because people always try to rush every holiday like Christmas and easter, so I think that everyone should slow down.
I dont think November is too early for decorating for Christmas. My family and I start decorating usally the second weekend in November so we can get everything up before it gets super cold and have pleanty of time to get rid of decor we no longer put up. I like having our decorations up earlier because there is more time to enjoy all of the hard work we put into decorating each year. However we dont turn our outside lights on until the day after thanksgiving out of respect to the holiday.
I think decorating on November 1st is too early but after Thankgiving is a good time. Many people decorate early when they could decorate for Thanksgiving first then decorate for Christmas.
