Lowering the voting age can have a beneficial increase in voting involvment, and in turn increase voter turnout. More people being able to vote also means that the government would be able to better suit people of a broader age group and encourage them to get involved in politics. Furthermore, it is proven that those who were able to vote from a younger age, were more prone to staying consistant and are more likely to vote consistently since they got into the habit at a younger age. By having the age lowerd it can shape the future of society and bulid the new generation. Theirs diffrent countries that have the voting rights or age to 16-17. "give them a voice in our democracy". It can give them a chance to have their voices heard in the politics.

Good topic choice Hugo! Your summary is brief. What si the history of voting age in the US? Explain that. You also could have replied more frquently as well.
I think that the voting age should stay at 18 years old because they are closer to fully developed decision making. If every 16 or 17 year old had a job and was paying all of the taxes that every other adult has to pay, I would consider that. However, as of now, 18 is a better decision in my opinion.
No. I personally don't think that the voting age should be lowered. I think this because if you lowered the age to 16 or 17 people would be to immature and wouldn't use their vote properly. I think the voting age is perfect where it's at and it shouldn't be changed.
I think the voting age shouldn't be lowered because there are a lot of people who don't know a lot about voting. And once you become 18, you officially become an adult, so voting should be something an adult should do. If I had to choose between 16 or 17, I would pick 17.
I think the voting age should be lowered because right now we're learning about it and I think we'll understand it if we would see one so like when we are 18 and we go to vote it's not so much fresh in your mind where 15 to 16 year olds are like learning how it works.
I think that the leagl age to drink should be raised becuase, if you drink at to young of an age you can mess up your brains growth and ability to function. Also there can be addiction problems when you drink at a young age. You can also get introuble in you get in a acident while being drunk cause you are putting yourself in danger and other people lives in danger.
I think that the voting age should stay the same because for one 18 is when you are an adult. If the voting was lowered there would be a lot of unserious votes or votes from kids of what their parents said to vote for. I personally wouldn't vote even if I could at 16 because I don't really pay that much attention to politics.
I feel the age should be lowered to 16 because as you get older you understand things more and I think that lowering the age will open up new doors to to the who the younger genoration will like
I think the voting age is at a perfect age for voting. I feel that since 18 is when you're officialy an adult, then you start making your own decisions and being more responsible. If teens were allowed to vote then I feel like they would just go off of what their parents think instead of learning about the process themselves.
I don't think that the voting age should be lowered. Younger people might not know who to vote for so they might just vote on a person because that person is doing one thing that they agree on. Which can lead to many bad things happening that they might not have known about because they didn't really know anything about the person that they are voting for.
