Quadruple Amputee Swims English Channel

After 13 hours, a 42 year old French man named Phillipe Croizon completed his swim across the English Channel. He lost his arms and legs after suffering an electric shock in 1994 when he stood on a ladder adjusting his telecvision antenna, which unfortunately touched a power line, and thus electricuted him. He had specially designed leg prosthetics, which ended in flippers, that allowed him to propel himself through the water. His truncated upper arms go through the motions of the crawl, and he breathes through a snorkel. What a phenomenon. That is what I call determination.
