  Are you using it for an assignment? If so, it could be considered plagiarism is you use it as your own. Now if you want to show an actual dictionary definition, you could mention the source and then use it.

  Social issues would be items dealing with people such as women's rights, prohibition, etc. I would also include music, fashion, sports and other entertainment.
