All the rain had caused the Seine river to overflow in Paris, France. The water eventually hit the Louvre Museum, making them move their art to higher levels to avoid damage. Some water levels had reached up to 17 feet, but the rain had stopped on Friday. By Saturday, the river had continued riser so many areas have been evacuated. This is not the first time the Seine reiver has overflooded. Some poeple believe that they should make changes to prevent it from overflooding again. The water levels continue to rise as not only the Seine river but now the Marne river, which is joined.

Would you press to make changes so that there is a less risk of overflooding? Why?
I would support it and would want them to make it more preventable.
How would you react if you had to evacuate your home?
I think it would be kind of scary and horrible because the water would ruin your house. You would bascically have to start over.

Good job overall. I do think your summary could be stronger. Your openning sentence should set the scene of the story.
I would press to make changes because you never know when something like this may happen agian or if it will ever happen again. If I had to evacuate my home, I think I would be scared as well as worried.
I would have already be prepared with walls and a lot of sandbags. It kinda sucks that mother nature can come at you really fast. I wouldnt know what to do if I evacuated from my house because you never know what memories you had in that house.
You have a good point. I think everybody is on the same page with losing a home.
I would prepare walls of sandbags to prevent the flooding. I wouldn't know what to do if I were evacuated from my home. It would seem unreal that your life is turned upside down but such an event.
Yah, I'm sure there would be shock with this event.
If somethings like this ever happened to me, I would be a mess! I would immediately do whatever I could to help insure the safety of my family, even if that meant moving. It would be really hard to start over, but with the right people by my side, it would be easier. I think that there should be preventative measures in place because flooding is a serious thing--it can ruin homes and lives.
I would definitely press to make changes so that there is a less risk of overflooding. It would impact so many lives and save many people. I would be very sad and scared if I had to evacuate my home. It would be hard leaving the place you call home.
These floods are very devistating and I hate to see such a beutiful city with so much rich history, cultrue and art treated in such a way by nature. I think that they should employ some kind of safty net such has deeper resovoirs or some kind of walling or dam sysytem. People having to leave their houses because of water is a tragedy that should be avoided.
The variable on how frequent flooding happens in the city determines my priorities on how much I would stress this problem. From the severity of the flood I think you should definitley consider this problem and try and solve it. If I had to evacuate my home I would be very astonished because my house lives on a big hill so the probability of a flood happening is very unlikely.
