Cursive is a type of handwriting that is usually taught to us when we are in elementary school. It includes basically different fonts of the ABC’s. Cursive was first used in ancient rome, medieval, and the resistance times and so on till today. It has been around for a long time, but what is it used for? Cursive is used for efficient and fast hand written notes, poems, or letters. Yes we use it for our signature sometimes, but is it really necessary to teach in school?

 

𝒞𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓋ℯ 𝒾𝓈 𝒾𝓂𝓅ℴ𝓇𝓉𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝒻ℴ𝓇 𝒶 𝓁ℴ𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝓇ℯ𝒶𝓈ℴ𝓃𝓈． 

Like can you even read that sentence without having to look twice? It was used a lot by the past generations and has almost disappeared in ours. Our grandparents and parents both write in cursive pretty often. And if it is a valuable message you are gonna want to be able to read it. And some people would like to be able to write their signature in cursive still just incase!

 

On the other hand, most people don’t feel a need to know cursive since it is never used anymore. Most signatures now are either printed, scribbles, or online. We use technology more and more everyday. Soon people will forgot about this ancient handwriting and move on with technology. We can let fonts do the work instead of learning a wholw new system of the ABCs.

 

I feel like cursive is important in personal ways, but I don’t think it should be taught in schools as a whole subject. If someone wants to learn cursive maybe they should look online or take a class on it. But we shouldn’t teach cursive in class time when we could be teaching them more important things.

I think it should be taught in school. It is not only benifical its will help their brain comprehend how to write in cursive or read some bad handwriting. I can read and write cursive, I find it benificial because I can understand my grandmothers writing along with having to write things in cursive.

i think it shouldn't because no one in daily life uses it most don't even use in in cursive, i can read simple neat cursive but not messy or fancy cursive(like my own signature) i can write in cursive if i forget a letter i guess, it might look good on paper and make you seem fancy but not really benifical.

Cursive can be beneficial in many ways. It is a good topic to learn but I don't think it should be taught in school, because it's not really needed such as other subjects that don't get talked about. I can read cursive. I can write cursive. I think it is beneficial because sometime you may need to use it in a proffesional setting.

 can you read cursive ? Half way  should curisve be taught in school? I frell like your name should be since you need that for checkes but i dont think that it should be taught at a high level but i think it would be beifical for sighning your name for driveres lisenes or important documents

Should cursive be thaught in school? I think it should be taught in school, but i don't think it should be required. Most people don't use it anymore, so what's the point? I can read and write in cursive very well. I think that cursive could be beneficial because its in different writing, but I don't think its benefical in any other way other than its fancy.

Should cursive be taught in school? Yes, I think cursive should be taught. This is because in life they will run into needing to kno cursive. Their signature will need to be cursive, and lots of formal documents are in cursive. It's also faster to write if someone is in a hurry.

I can wright in cursive only because I was taught when I was in elementary school. I think that cursive should be taught in school. Teaching cursive and helping a student develop a skill that is used by some people. Learning cursive helps the brain in ways that normal writing doesn't. It is a way for people to be creative with their writing and understand another style of writing. So overall it is an essential skill I believe people should have.
