New safety laws in schools 

          After the parkland shooting in florida were 17 students were killed and 17 were wounded, many schools decided to have new technologies to help students stay safe and to confuse the threat and minimize as much damage as possible. A school in miami start to hire armed guards, yep that's right armed guards with guns in the school. In the future their might be more armed guards in schools, which in a way is sad because we have to have armed guards to protect our students in schools. They will also have regular dog checks and give visitors ID card that can track their every move inside the school. They are also making putting new security systems to uses in their schools to find an intruder roaming around in a school. Over all they are applying safer ways to track and keep threats out of the school and to take them out if necessary.

1. What do think about having armed guards with guns in schools?

I think it’s a good idea to have armed guards so if there was a shooter then they could take care of the threat with minimale deaths and injuries

 

1. If you could add a new system/methods to prevent school shooting or threats what would it be?

If I were to add something new, I would add routine checks in lockers and students bags and add metal detectors before entering the school.

I think that would be and innocent idea to have armed guards with guns inschool because honestly now a days I think that there should be no guns in school becasue they always could be taken from the armed guard. I don't know what I would really add to the school to prevent school shootings thats a hard thing to prevent.

I think it is a good idea because what if there someone that we don't know and a shooter, so armed guards would keep us students and teachers safe.I would just add more surveillance cameras so we would be more alert and the metal detectors would be a great idea.

I also think is a good idea to have armed guards in school since is not a completly safe place anymore. But it's really sad to think that a school need such thing as a security guard. If I could add something new, it would be double check in the lockers or in the student's bags.

I think that armed guards is a good idea. Our world today is turning into something that is not easy to live in. I think that teachers should be armed. Adding something like this could prevent, and save so many kids and the teachers. This could help stop school shootings, and save many lives.

1)I dont think it would be a bad idea, but also it could end up bad... I think that if the armed gun men protecting us shot first and killed the bad guy we would be fine but if they people protecting us got shot down then we just give them more ammo to hurt all of us with. 

2)The one thing i would most defiently change is something that can detect weapons from a gun to a pocket knife. Every so often have one check lockers.

Armed guards would be an effective way to protect staff and teachers if a shooter were to enter the school, but at the same time, it may threaten students. They may feel scared about the armed guards being their which could potentially affect how well they do in school and their overall feeling of school. If I could add a new system/method to prevent school shootings or threats I would add regular backpack checks.

Armed gaurds is good and bad. Kids already think that school is prison so that just adds to it and then the poitive side to it is that you don't have to wait for the police to get there if there is a shooting because you'll have armed guards and they try to protect you at all cost.I would do more of the keypad with your school or ID you have to sswipe the card

I think that at this point there isn't much else you can do to keep students safe. Safety is a huge risk nowadays so armed guards is a good idea. I think that there should be bag and locker checks often to minimize what gets brought into school.

I think that they should have armed guards in school because then if we have armed guards we can protect students more and defend students if there was ever a shooter in the school. If I could use a new system to prevent school shootings then I would put security checks in every school so a students couldn't walk in and out of school with a weapon.
