There is going to be a new update for iOS 11.1 for new emojis. The new emojis include more smiley faces, mythological creatures, clothing, food, and also gender neutral options. Earlier this year on World Emoji Day, it was also announced that there was an update that'll include a breastfeeding mom and a woman in a headscarf. Also, Apple has stepped up to include more diverse options such as more country flags and more skin tone options.

I think that it is a good thing to add to the iPhone. I think that the more diverse the better. I think that they will have lots more faces, and they will start to include lots more food and animals.
I think that this is good for the company because many people love using emojis and would love to have a larger expansion on it. I think that more people would also start using them with more options becoming available. I think in the next update they will make more sports emojis and more food and animals.

I think it is a waste of space. I do use a few, but I only use around seven regularly. If I would use them everyday and if I used more than I do now, I think it would be more cool. Although I necessarily wouldn't want more emojis, I wish they would come out with a search bar specifically for emojis.
I like the new emojis, Apple is coming up with a lot of new and cool emojis for people to use when texting their friends or family. I want to be surprised when another update comes out.
