Mount Everest may have shrunk

Back in 2015 the  earth quake in Nepal may have caused The worlds tallest mountain to shrink. The last time they have measured the mountain was back in 1955 by the Indian government. they want to send a group of 30 people up there to take the measurement will only 2 days but to prepare for this it may take up to 6 months. The hard part is not the measurement but its to get the permission to actually take the measurement. 

How do you think the earth quake with affect the height of the mountain.

The journey to the summit of Mount Everest is a challenge an increasing number have taken on since the summit was first reached in in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Until the late 1970s, only a handful of climbers per year reached the summit. By 2012 that number rose to more than 500.

    I think the earthquake might have done something to make it shift a bit but i dont this the earthquake is the whole reason. I think it would kinda be fun to climb it but it would also be very scarier at some parts.

    I think the earthquake hasn't really changed the mountain only made it a lot more dangerous because the earthquake could cause some lose snow which can cause avalanches. No i would not climb Everest because i am afraid of heights.

    I think the earthquake may have just caused it to shift or go into the ground a little bit, I think I would be to scared to climb it because of incidents like earthquakes and just the dangers that come along with climbing a mountain like this.

    I think that the quake might have had something to do with it, but not a lot. I would not climb it, as I would need a lot of expensive equipment.

    I don't think that the earthquake did anything to the mountains, I think the liberals want to make this earthquake "shrinking" the mountain as an excuse for global warming. I would never climb any mountain because I am scared of heights.

    i dont think that it really would have affected the mountain because the Himalayan mountains are caused by the tectonic plates of china and India colliding. and no i wound never climb the mountain because i value my life.

    I think that the earthquake could affect the mountain size by the ground opening under it. I think that it would be fun to climb it but I wouldn't do it right away because it is process that you have to train for.

    I think that the earthquake could affect the mountain size by shaking it and causes small parts of the mountain to fall and crumble off. I think that it would be fun to climb a mountain but I wouldn't do it right away because it is a process that you have to train for.

    I think it possible that the earthquake could have cause the mountain to shrink. I would never climb the mountain.

    If the earthquake affected the mountain at all i feel like it will be a very small amount. 

    I would not climb the mountain because that isnt something that sounds fun to me and also a lot of people have died climbing it.
