Early Saturday morning a man in a Paris airport approached a soldier. The man then reached at the female soldier's rifle at an attempt to use it. As the man and soldier fought for the rifle the soldier maintained possession of the rifle. Following those events two other soldiers came to the scene and shot the man multiple times, resulting in his death. Earlier that morning this man was involved in a car-jacking and shooting at a police officer at a traffic stop. France is now having their anti-terrorism prosecutor get involved in the investigation to look for more clues or evidence.

1. What intentions do you think the man had grabbing for the rifle?
2. Do you think it was right for the two soldiers to shoot and kill the man?
My Answers-
1. I think following his actions earlier that morning definitely indicated that he had some sort of idea to harm others or soldiers in his "attack".
2. I think the soldiers had every right to shoot the man as he was putting the female soldier in danger let alone many others if he would've gotten hold of the gun.

he probably wanted the gun so he could shoot more people. I think it was completely right and justified for the soldiers to shoot him because he has already done so much bad stuff. If he would have gotten a hold of the rifle, then he could have done even more damage.
i feel that this could have been a terrorist attack or it could have been a lunatic either way it was wrong. i think that part was wrong. it its three on one so the soldiers could have subdued him instead of killing him
I think the intentions of the man was to kill the soldier or to steal it and kill other people, I think the soldiers did the right thing to shot the man as he was becoming a bad person to tried to kill people in his own way.
I think that the man did this because he was trying to hurt of kill people. I think that this could have been a terrorism attack or that's what it was trying to happen. I think that the soldiers have the right to do that because the man was attacking and trying to steal another Soldier's rifle.
I think that maybe the man tried to grab the rifle to harm someone or maybe just to be "cool" and try to do something funny. I think it was acceptable for the other soldiers to shoot the man because he was stealing military property from a soldier and possibly putting her life and other lives in danger.
I am guessing the man was planning on a mass murder or individual murder. There would be really no other explanation because if he wanted to steal the weapon it would be nearly impossible. If the man was truly trying to injure others and he had previously been in trouble I think it was necessary in the moment.

I think the soldiers shouldn't have just shot him, but I also don't think they were in the wrong for doing so. As long as they gave him a fair warning they had every right.
I don't think a fair warning would've stopped this man as reaching for an item such as a rifle sets off some red flags the soldiers did what was best in judgement.
He probably wanted to commit a terrorist act against the citizens of France. He mostly likely would have opened fire upon the people inside the airport. I dont think they needed to kill the man, but they for sure should have fought back and gotten the man arrested.
