Kenneth Capron, is committed to find housing for the homeless. And even if it means going outside the box he is willing to do it. And I would be willing to do too. If it meant that homeless had some type of housing. Capron approached the city council of Portland, Maine earlier this week about revolutionizing a shut down cruise ship into a housing community for vulnerable people. This curise ship would not be long- term housing, but it will work for now until Capron or someone else gets something figured out for these vulnerable people.

I would try to get a bunch of fun raisers set up to help Capron get started with his project. I would also tell a lot of people about it and encourage them to help out in any way the can. Doing fun raisers and donation would be a big help Capron with his project.

I think that this a great idea, and its out of the box and creative. Though he may not have came up with it by himself he is trying to take it a step further and put it into action. This would be a great temporary idea until someone can get something else figured out to house these homeless people.

I don't think that I would really help him do anything just because why would you bulid a housing boat for homeless poeple if you could just do it on land and have more room and it would be more safe also. I don't think its a good idea as I said before its really not that safe and it would just be easier to build a buliding.
I would try to get a petition started for the people who belive it is a good idea. I belive this is a great tempary house for the homeless, they need places to keep warm and somewhere to lay there head at night and not to worry about the inclement weather or getting kicked out of the place they are sleeping because it's illegal

I totally agree with you. Fundraising and making this aware is probably one of the best ideas that could bring in money for Capron and his organization. And every penny counts. And you don't have to just donate money. Supplies is also a big thing that could be donaated. It would be very appreciated. I also think that this is a good way to get the homeless back on there feet. It is also a good way to give them a second chance.
I would also try and set up fundraisers to help them get this charity up and going because I think it is a great idea even if it is only helping a few people at a time.

Yes, setting up fundrasing ads and pages on the Internet is a great idea. It's not just spreading word. It's spreading word to many people. Sometimes if you put posters our paper ads I feel like most people won't take the time to look at them and read them. Because people are too much into technology these days. This is an awesome idea, and it is so creative. I would have never been able to come up with an idea like this. This housing on a boat will help a lot of people out and it will get these homeless people back on there feet. It's also a really good thing that he is thinking about other people.
