Biden sending 1 billion dollars to Russia each year could be one of the United States' biggest mistakes. As they told Russia they would send them the money every year, but basically told them not to make nuclear weapons. This situation is very controversial, as Russia is not one of our allies. They also have a recent past of threats to multiple different countries. As they have invaded Ukraine, and made threats to the United States. These include nuclear warfare, and prescise accuracy threats to take out important locations. I personally think this a very unwise choice, as it could end in serious consequences for our country.
Others say that this could be good for the United States and Ukraine. This could bring the U.S., Ukraine, and Russia to better terms and to a state of agreement on many issues. Being viewed as a country that promotes peace and harmony may not always serve the best interest. Looking at the downside to this large financial give away, our economy is already trillions of dollars in debt and this will allow for worsening of the situation. Once Biden exits political office, it willl take the new up and coming president a lot of work and time to get the US out of this situation.
There are many pros and cons to helping others, but in that we can get lost. The path traveled becomes blurry and there is not really a way to see clearly. On one side you are helping, other side you are hurting. In conclusion, President Biden should reconsider his yearly million dollar give away to Russia so that the US may have a better chance to get up on their feet for the sake of all the people living in this country.
We are putting the money in their hands for the ammo.

Your topic is good but you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points. You also posted it a week late.
I don't think giving Russia is a smart idea. Russia is not one of our allies and I don't think giving them money will make them like us. We don't know what Russia has in mind for the money or if they will even keep their end of the deal. Not only is it a bad idea but we could use the money that's being given away to fix more problems with our own country.
I think that this is a very risky plan for Biden and his team to be exacuting, but it might work. Obviously, I don't have all of the information about it, and I haven't thought it through as much as they probably have.
I think this is a very unsmart decision form Biden. I think he needs to be putting the people of the counrty first and only helping where they can. America is a very popular country and to basically give a counrty money so they won't shoot at us gives us a look of vulnerability.
I don't think this is the smartest thing to do in this situation. Russia and the U.S. have always been on bad terms, and I don't think giving them money is going to help the situation. They will most likely just spend it on more weapons to beat Ukraine.
Personally I think giving Russia any money is going to result in a bad idea. They could put the money for new weapons used in the next big world war. If Russia isint entirely trusted by the US why would we give them anything that would be useful in making weapons.
I don't think giving any kind of money to Russia is good. I don't really trust Russia because they could easily turn their backs on us. They could even put that money toward nuclear bombs or something of that nature.
I think that giving this money to Russia is actually a good idea. This is because it strengthens our country's relationship with Russia, but it is not a significant financial gain for Russia. This is because Russia's GDP is almost 2 trillion dollars and Putin himself has far more than 1 billion dollars.
I don't think giving Russia money in general is a good idea because they are not entirely trusted by the US why would we give them more money so they can make bombs and other equipment to try and start something?
giving russia was a good idea because it could build trust so that if we did go to war they would be on our side. Also if i smoked and someone gave me a ciggy, and told me i couldn't smoke i would probably ask why and then smoke it
