Two groups are telling Apple that it isn't healthy for kids to spend a lot of time on screens. These groups own part of Apple and they want the company to make some changes. They are afraid that their products, such as iPhones and iPads could harm children if used too frequently. There are some studies that say using devices like cellphones can cause issues like sleep problems and bad behavior. These problems are even worse for children because their brains are still developing. Doctors at The American Academy of Pediatrics say kids younger than two should not have screen time. They also say that the screen time of older kids should be closely watched.
Questions:
1. At what age do you think it is okay for kids to start using these devices?
I think a little screen time for young kids is okay as long as their parents are watching them.
2. Do you think Apple should make changes to make sure their devices are used properly? If so what changes do you think should be made?
I think Apple might need to put age limits on some of their devices if it is becoming too much of a problem.

Good story cjoice and well done overall! I do think you could have commented more.
1. I don't know. When I see young kids watching stuff on their parents devices, I suddenly get a feeling of unexplainable dissaproval. I'm not sure where the feeling comes from, but as time goes on and the devices become more a part of our lives I think that they should be exposed to the devices since they'll grow up with them and the new technology to come. Screen time should be limited with all young children.
2. None of this issue is Apple's fault. They build and sell the devices, not control how much they're used. It's the parents that let their kids use the devices too much, and the children's health will be a consequence of their parenting. Adults use their devices probably even more than they let their kids do.
I think for younger kids there should be a limit on screen time they have. But for older generation people I mean they are adulting or adults that should be able to make that decision becasue they should be mature enough to make that call . Its not the company that is in charge of how much someone is on the phone but I think the parent need to make the call on what age they want their child to have any kind of device.
1) I think kids shouldn't get phones till middle school, but that could just be my family. I think phoes are a distraction and they take away kids from their school work and thier social life. I think if they want to watch TV that would be okay, but it should be limited.
2) Apple should make zero changes. First off, it is the parents fault for allowing them to have these devices, alone having them at school. Second, kids are at fault because they are stending too much time on phones and not enough time on school work. Then they get bad grades and blame it on the teachers. It is the familes fault. Apple should have to do nothing.
Electronics for young kids are not good for them and their futures. Electronics should not be even in the ficinity of little kids until they can read. Reading gives them the power to actually know what they are doing on the device. Apple should not worry about this situation as it is the parents device letting their kids use it.
I think kids should be at least 10 to start and parents are watching them because they could be watching something thats not good for them and giving them the bad behavoir. I also think their should by a age limit because a four old year should not be able to have a phone the kid should be at least 10 like I said earlier.
I think they shoudl start using them around 9 or 10, because when they are in school, they are just learning the basics of their education, but when they get older they should start using them becuase their homeowork will get harder. Yes, because some kids are on their phones more, and don't do their homework.
Technology can be very helpful in some situations when you are younger, so I think that kids can have a little screen time, but I the parents should keep an eye on how much they are using it. I don't think Apple should do anything, it is not their problem, I think that the parents should make the decision whether or not the kids should use the device.
Parents definitely do have a big role in this issue. It is important that they watch how long their kids look at screens as well as what they look at. I do think Apple should do a little bit because they are the ones that make the devices. However, I agree that parents need to be the ones to make the final decision.
I think that younger kids would be okay with very little screen time, but they should be watched very closely so they don't have too much of it to hurt their brains or anything that could be hurt from this. I think that Apple should have a time limit on how much they use for all iphones and ipads so you don't damage anything.
