HCHS XC!

Who likes to run? I dont believe many do, but running is the best thing you can do for your body! Running relaxes you, relieves stress, makes you emotionally happier, speeds up your metabolism, gains muscle, and decreases any signs of depression. In terms of school, running is great for the brain! Running makes you more alert and better at learning! Even if your not in cross country, grab a friend and run a mile or so a day! This will improve you overall! Who wouldnt want to run after hearing all of these benefits?

  • I would like to run a mile or so everyday, but I live in the country and it's hilly every where around my house. I can run up and down the court in basketball for hours but can't runa mile.
  • jena marie razz that was cyo, completly different. also rachel, i agree, i love running :) after i get done.. and all the pain goes away.. i feel so much better! Also, xc is just so much fun! haha im not sure why but we have so much fun during that sport. As much as practice can suck, in the end its really good for you and very fun.

  • hmmm I like to run..I just don't like people telling me to run. Its something to do when I feel like it.. and I'm sure it would never be that far.

  • Running is so awesome its the only sport ive ever done and actually been good at! I wish cross country was year round and lasted all day.

    Can you provide links to websites that proves that running does running does all those helpful things? This is important to validate what you are saying is actually scientifically proven and not just what you think.

  • This is really interesting. I enjoy running, but I had no idea that it helped you learn better or made you happier. That's awesome. Just more reasons to keep on running. GO HCHC XC!!
