She is going to spend the day at Sandringham, her country estate in western England, where she plans on chilling with the grand-kids. It was February 6th, 1952 when the then 25 year old Elizabeth ascended to the throne as this is the day her father, King George VI died.

I think that Queen Elizabeth is the longest reigning monarch in English history because, not only does she have medical technology that previous monarchs lacked, but I believe she also has passion for what she does! I think that Queen Elizabeth has been a great leader and is very well liked by all! I believe she wanted to spend the day at her estate with her family because it is something that she enjoys. I think that this says a lot about the Queen's character and her humble personality!
I think the reason why Queen Elizabeth is the longest reining monarch in British history is because she knows how to take care of herself not only physically, but mentally as well. She didn't want a big celebration, because she wanted to spend time with her grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

She is still reigning because she hasn't died yet. She is a great leader and she is very devoted to what she does, but she is pretty old. I think that the reason that she is the longest is because as time goes by throughout history people's lifespans grow longer because of discovery in modern medicine and healthier lifestyles. Also she is the queen, one of the most important people in the world, she is going to be taken care of. I think that she just wanted to enjoy time with her family and not make a big deal about it.
