Foreign languages go all the way back to the 18th century. The first languages taught in the U.S. were Latin and Greek they were the OGs. They were taught to the groom scholars and clergymen. The clergymen were the male righteous leaders. By the 19th century, more modern languages were taught. These are French, German, and Spanish. In the beginning, it was all about preparing diplomats and learning cultural enlightenment. By the time the 20th century came running around world wars started taking place. That shook everything up and we started to want language education. These were used for security and communication reasons.
It was a way we could connect globally. Many schools now teach a variety of languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and many more. They were also used for the space race and technological advancements. Also used for science and language skills. Now, the history of foreign language in our school is not much. We have always taught French and Spanish. This year we are removing French because everybody chooses Spanish over French.

Love the topic choice and your summary is done well but is brief overall and would like to hear your thoughts within it as well. It was also posted two days late. The bigger issue is you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
The language class im currently taking is spanish. I would maybe like a class with russian or chinese like maybe mandarin, catonese, taiwanese, or fuzhounese those seem like nice languages to learn. I am basically fluent in my own english language I know some spanish and that's about it.
My native language is Spanish since I just arrived in the United States, so at this moment I still have a lot to learn about English, and since the time comes when it is not so difficult for me to speak English, I would love for there to be a class Italian, since it is very similar to Spanish. At the moment I can say that I only speak Spanish because I still don't feel completely comfortable with English.
I am taking Spanish 1 right now, and next year I am taking Spanish 2. I would like to learn something like Russian or German. I really only speak 1 (english) because I really suck at spanish and dont really know a lot of it.
I would love to learn the russian or spanish, but I'm not talking any classes right now, and don't plan on it. Languages are interesting I just don't think I could be interesting in a class like that. I speak the barest amount of spanish and a lot of english. Though I'd of course like to widen my horizons.
I am currently taking the class Spanish three. I think that the languages that we currently have are proabably good enough. I think that French and Spanish are both good languages to learn. I speak english and am learning spanish.
I am not taking any language classes, I think german would be a cool one to add, I only speak one language
I'm not taking any language class right now but I plan on doing some eventually. I would like to see german or latin in our school. I can only speak english but I know a little bit of American Sign Language.
I am currently taking spanish and I kind of like it. I think it would be cool if our school taught german language. I only speak 2 langueages which are english and some spanish and I probably won't learn any others.
I am currently taking Spanish 2 and last year I took Spanish 1. I'm not sure what language classes should be added bit maybe the more popular ones around the earth. I can speak 1 language fluently and barely speak Spanish in very little sentences.
