Six years a slave

Looking back on his ordeal, that he says lasted from January 2009 to March 2015, Senasook rarely saw land, as the boat he was on roamed further and further from Thai waters in search of increasingly scarce fish.
Its catch was part of Thailand's multi-billion dollar seafood industry that feeds tens of millions in Europe and the United States.
Senasook describes his life on board as one full of intimidation, sleep deprivation and regular beatings from the boat's captain.

  • Be sure to work a bit more on capitalizing words that should be and just sentence structure in general. -5 late

  • i would defiantly not let it get that bad. i would do everything possible to stop it and when i get a chance i would get out of that place.

  • If i had the capability to say something or let it be known its not right to let him drift off like that i definitely would've.

  • Probably not, I think they shouldn't of let him drift that far into the sea. If I could do something I definitely would!

  • I don't think so because I would have fought back against the people who were containing me. I would definitely try to fight my way off the ship.

  • 1. I would try not to let it get as bad. I can see also not being able to help the cause as much.

    2. I might, I feel like I would try. I believe I really wouldn't make a huge difference as there's not much to do.

  • I would definitively try to set some rules and show them I would not settle for these kind of conditions, If it continued I would try to talk to the captain although he was abusive it would be better than not doing anything at all.

  • I would definitely try to set some ground rules and try to show them I wouldn't settle for these kind of conditions. If it continued I would try to talk to the captain although he was abusive it would be better than nothing at all.

  • I would probably try to escape the first chance I got or just try to follow orders until I could escape. I might try to kill the captain if i ever feared for my life during that time.

  • No, i would keep it cool and let the ship mates take breaks and let them have vacations. Yah i would, try to stop it and if i was a ship worker and i saw someone getting beat i would help them out and try to stop them from getting beaten.
