Every school in West Virginia is closed due to the ongoing strike that teachers have been performing. All schools in 55 counties in the state have been closed. Teachers were protesting and demanding higher wages for educators. Over 20,000 teachers and 277,000 students have missed school due to this. Teachers have started protesting since last week. According to the National Education Association, West Virginia is ranked 48th in the nation for average teacher salary. Although teachers have had a pay raise recently, they continue to protest. Educators say that the raise was not enough and that it didn't address other areas of concern like health care or or insurance.

No, I don't think it's worth wasting valuable time protesting about the amount of money the job is paying. On my day off, I too would probably just relax, there wouldn't be much else to do without school.
Yes, if it wasn't enough to pay my health care or insurance. I would need the money and protest for the raise. Probobly do nothing all day, maybe get things done that have been put off for another time.
I would join them! They have a right to assemble and protest. This isn't a new problem in this state. I would probably stay in bed and watch some Nexflix and get done the homework that I had from the last time the school was open.
No I wouldnt join the teachers if I was a teacher. I got this job knowing the wage and if I didn't like it I would'nt have got the job. I'd probably go to work or just hangout with friends.
I would protest, because teachers deserve a higher wage than what they get now. If I had a day off from school, I would either go and hang out with friends or I would stay home and watch netflix with some friends.
If I am tasked with educating the future of our country, I would probably want to be paid pretty well. If this happened here, I would probably just chill at home and play some Fortnite or something.
I agree. Educators of the future should get paid a lot more than they currently are. They are being tasked with an important job and the amount of effort they put in it will definitely determine the outcome of our future.
1.) I would want to get paid as much as possible. So no I wouldn't want to go on stike like the rest of them because I would want to get paid for my bills each month. I would relax If I had kids that weren't in school yet I would hangout with them for the day.
I would probably react like this if I was paid so low because being an adult is hard, but I also dont think I would act out like some of the people. If I got a day off I would definatly relax and do something I enjoy or have wanted to be do.
