Dog Digs Owner Out of Snow Fort

Steve Bayers, his son and sons friend had built a snow fort, but what they did not expect is the snow fort crashes on them. Trapped in their snow fort they are pinned into the snow. Steve Bayers had tried to dig himself out but ended up getting dug out by his dog. A 5 yr old golden retriever that had dug them out. When the dog had dug out the father the father had found his leg broke cleanly through although I'm sure he had felt it and heard it. He dug the kids out after the dog grabbed his jacket and got him out. The dogs name is Zoose. Steve had said it could have been worse without Zoose's quick actions.

Questions

1 How would you feel in that situation?

2 How would you react?

3 If you were the dog how would you feel?

answers

1 I would feel cold and my leg would probably hurt if it had snapped.

2 I wouldn't really care at first but then i start to feel a little chloster phobic

3. I would feel accomplished and I would probably be expecting a really good treat after that action.

  • I would first feel scared since I was trapped with a broken leg and then I would find the kids and make sure they were ok before I did anything else. I would then get them out if at all possible before I even began to worry about myself. If I were the dog I hope I would do exactly as Zoose did and save my owner and the kids as fast as I could.

  • I would probably be scared because of being trapped under snow. I don't know how I would react because I don't know what being buried in snow feels like. I would probably be happy that I was able to get him out.

  • I think in situations like that, especially when you're a father, you are just thinking about your kids. So if his leg did snap, he may not have noticed just because of his instincts to save his kids. If I was the Dad, I would have reacted the same way most likely. If I were the kids, I would have tried to free myself as much as possible. I would also be very glad that I had that dog and my dad!

  • I would be scare because I wouldn't know what to do. I would try to keep as calm as possible so I could also keep the kids calm. I don't really know how I would feel as a dog.. but maybe I'd feel happy to see them. .
  • I would feel scared and i would probably not be able to breath in the snow and maybe get cold. I would try to keep calm so my kids would not freak out and then I would try to keep them calm as well. I really don't know but the dog was protecting his owner and that is why it happened.

  • If I was trapped in snow, I would feel very afraid and helpless. Then when the dog would come rescue me I would be so overjoyed by this miracle.

  • I would be super cold and honestly scared with being trapped and not have been able to get out on my own. If I were the dog I would feel good that I was able to save my owner.

  • If i was in the situation i would be very cold obviously and scared. I would at least be glad that i had my father and a friend to be there with me. I would so glad that my dog had dug us out. I would be very proud of the dog. If i was the dog i would be proud i guess i don't know how dogs feelings work so.

  • If I was in this situation I would try to stay calm and call for help. I think that I would try to call for help. If I was the dog I would probably be happy.
