Starting way back in September the mount agung volcano started to spew hot ash into the air and tremble the earth in a seven mile radius. The island authority's are ordering people to evacuate but some people are refusing saying that it will not hit them because the last time it erupted over 50 years ago it did not hit the areas that they live in. Other people are saying that they need to stay for their live stock. Islands authority's are now forcing people to move out of the seven mile radius.
Questions- Would you have stayed? Why or why not?
Questions- DO you think that it was smart for them to force evacuations? Why or why not??
Answers- I do not think that it was very smart for them to stay the fact that a volcano is about to blow would make me move off the island compleatly. and these people need to figure out if their family's or cattle are more important. I think that forcing them out was a very good idea to prevent more loss of life.

1. If there were warnings sent out then I would probably leave. But if I didn't see a real problem then I would have stayed.
2. I think it was smart. The authority's job is to make people safe, and sending out an evacuation was the best way to keep them safe.
I don't think that I would have stayed because the authorities even told the people to evacuate, so it has to be pretty serious. And also just because it didn't hit them 50 years ago doesn't mean that it can't happen this time. It was probably the best they could do to force them to evacuate, although I also kind of think that it should be the people's own decision. I'm not sure!
I would move, so that my family and I are safe from the volcano. No, it's could develop hatred for the authorities and cause even more resistant making their jobs harder and causing unnecessary headaches.
I don't think I would stay because it could be erupting any time and never know when. My parents although would probably stay for our farm and livestock so I would have to decide whether to stay or not. Yes, I think it was smart because they could save so many lives by doing this just in case it did erupt.
No i wouldn't have stayed if it has been rumbling and spewing ash three months it can erupt at any time. Yes i think it was good idea to evacuate them it could save there lives they lose some cattle but that is better than being dead.
I agree compleatly Kyle. The fact that some people are dumb enough to stay with their cattle is beyond confusing to me. i understand that people dont want to lose any money but i would rather have my life than money.
I don't think I would have stayed becuase thats not very safe and I would just want me and my family to leave and be safe. I think it is smart to enforce evacuations because it saves more people that way.
