Millions of different pets and animals are used every year just in the United States for different testing. They lock animals up and force them to eat, they inject different chemicals and drugs into their skin, and they are forced to inhale different things. Animals that get tested get exposed to different drugs and chemicals that can make them sick, give them very bad disseases, put them in very bad pain, or kill them. Usually the animals will stay there until they die. They usually get killed after the expirement so that they can get looked at to see how the test worked out.
Some pros of animal testing are that it has improved and saved the lives of millions of people. It has also benefited plenty of businesses and researchers. It helps make sure that humans stay safe and it puts no human lives at risk. Also it helps with the odds of people sueing businesses for their products.
Cons of animal testing are that more than 110 million animals are tortured to death and killed in labs for different testings that don't always work and aren't even 90% accurate. It's inhumane to lock the animals down in place, poke them in the eyes and mouth, slice at there skin, and much worse. There are so many people worried about animal abuse and hurting animals but then they buy things that have been animal tested and sometimes they don't even understand how badly it hurts the animals.
In my opinion I think there are so many things not okay about animal testing. Why would you want to purposely torture animals for information that isn't even 100% accurate. When I think about it I think about if it were my pet. The animals that are getting killed are there sometimes from birth until they die and they never even did anything wrong or to hurt anyone.

While some animal testing is pretty bad, most companies use overpopulated animals such as rabbits or rats. I also don't know what you found that said that animals are forced to eat but they need to eat to live. Unless they are testing a drug that is eaten, no one is forcing them to eat. I do believe that there are much better ways to test a product but that doesn't mean that we can move straight into human testing because this would be causing the same injuries but on people instead. Some of the testing is just outright cruel, it's true. However, animal testing is enssial for medicine for pets. Unless someone tests that medicine, it could harm your pet more than help it.
I do not agree with animal testing. For one, the testing is not accurate. Animals and humans are very different, so testing on animals doesn't really make sense. The research gathered in experiments is not accurate. Plus, there are so many brands out there that have been able to safely make products WITHOUT testing on animals. That speaks volumes. If brands wanted to, they would. I feel that it is lazy not switching. Animals were not put on earth to be used by humans for experiments, they deserve to feel safe and loved. STOP HURTING ANIMALS.
I agree that animal testing not accurate so is it really worth killing multiple animals for information that isn't accurate and doesn't make sense. I also really agree that there are plenty of other brands that can safely make different products without testing on animals.
I think a better way to test products would be to get human volunteers. You could even pay them. Animal testing should defenitly be considered abuse because animals can't give consent, and if animal abuse is illegal, animal testing should also be illegal. Plus, the only animals are super close to humans are primates, and most of those are endangered.

Many people may not agree wioth my opinion, but I think that animal testing is absolutely necessary, heres why: first off, would you rather put a animals life at stake or a humans? Also would you rather have human testing or animal testing, second If I had a business I would want to make sure my product works I don't want a animal to shut my business down, third, animal testing keeps tons of massive companies open and keeps our economy stable, stopping animal testing would have a massive negative effect on society today, think about it your makeup products and body wash and shampoo, could kill you do you really want that kind of risk in your life or would you like to be certain the products you use are completely safe?
I think that animal testing is animal abuse and very cruel. With today technology I think they should be able to desing any type of robot or machine to test products on instead of animals. I think it should be illegal because they deserve to live as much as we do.

I think animal testing is crule and it is considered animal abuse. some product severly harm the animals and even causes death to the animals. Its completely unfair for animals to suffer for prouducts we use. I do belive there are better ways to test prouducts then using animals, and it should be illegal because it should be considered animal abuse for harming animals.
