After the monster storm of Hurricane Michael swept through Florida, multiple volunteers are helping to clean up and search for survivors. Many of the residents are standing in line for bottled water and pre-prepped meals (MRE's) due to many houses without electricity. Shelters are filling up and supplies are being handed out, even dropped from helicopters to remote areas. Authorities involved with cleaning up the aftermath of the hurricane state that many people are getting to the point of doing anything that they need to do to survive. Many calls from around the country are still piling up looking for relatives or loved ones that were residents of Florida. Volunteers and authorities are starting to believe that the aftermath of the monster storm could be just as bad as the storm itself.

What Should The Authorities and Volunteers Take into Consideration When Looking for Survivors?- I think that the authorities and volunteers need to visit more of the remote areas. I also believe that they need to do this sooner than later as residents of those areas aren't going to be able to survive much longer without food or water.
What Would You do if You Didn't have Food, Water, or Power for This Long?- I personally would try to get out of Florida and go to where my relatives live and possibly live with them for a little while just while everything (or everyone) calm down and start to regain different needs.

Well done Carter!
They need to look in more popular areas or shelters. Becasue when scared people usally group together so they feel safer! I would leave becasue thats rough man and i wouldnt last that long with out them!
I think when looking for survivors that the authorities and colunteers should take into consideration is that they will most likley be very scared and stressed about everything and that they need help really bad and there mental state might not be the best. If I didn't have food, water, or power for a long time I would move.
I think authorities and volunteers need to help the surviors try to find their belongings and other family members. Also give meals to people that have no food and water.I would go to a different state where some of my family live and go live with them .Then I would try to get a job.
I think that the authorities and volunteers should go through heavily populated areas as well had remote areas so that everyone will be taken care of. I would be scared cause I know you have only a couple of days until dehydration hits you and you are also starving yourself along with it.
If I did not have anything like food, water, or power for this long of a time, I would try to go someplace where I would be able to get it if I could and I would try and find some family and friends that could help me.
When looking for survivors of the hurricane, the authorities and volunteers should take into consideration that the survivors have gone a very long time without supplies like food and water and that the volunteers should have some with them when they find people.
I think that the authorities should check things very carefully and more often. The harder and more careful they look, the more people they can end up saving in the rubble. If I didn't have those necesities, I would leave Florida and find anywhere where I could get something. Maybe from a relative or friend.
I agree with you in saying that they should search as soon as possible rather than waiting until it may be too late. If I didn't have access to basic necessities like food and water for that long it would be hard to live at all, much less worry about what I was going to do.
To be carful around rubble and to make sure that they are'nt hurting them selves while trying to save oters.I would try to make the best of what I could find for suppiles and try to make the best if i little next to nothing.
