Semester Test Blog

1. The U.S and North Korea do not get along. North Korea to us is a danger for nuclear weapons. They keep threatening us by saying they will bomb us with nuclear weapons and all that stuff. We also didn't get along back then either. In the Korean war, we had to stop North Korea from attacking the border of South Korea.

2. Democracy- people vote for president; free country         Socialism- everything is controlled by the community     Capitalism- controlled by private owners and not by the government.  Monarchy- controlled by a king or queen. Full power    Dictatorship- controlled by a small group or a person   Oligarchy- Top people rule and no government. Top people are the best and no one else is. Representative Democracy- people vote for the people. Anarchy- No government. Usually happens after wars.    Constitutional Monarchy- Ruled by king or queen is limited in power.   Mixed Economy- More than one form of a economy   Communism practiced and theory- practiced is when the government has full rule and the people have no freedom. Theory is basically the same thing but the people overthrow the government most the time.

3. Income inequality is the gap of money made by people classified by rich to poor. We can help by evening out the Top 1% and giving money to the poor.

4. Republicans are conservative. They believe in the government not to have much control and let the people decide what they do and not depend on the government. They don't believe in Gay marriage or abortion. Democrats are liberal. Democrats think that the government shouldn't get into people's lives. Believe in high taxes for the rich.  Believe in a strong government for people to rely on. They believe in Gay marriage and abortion.

5. Stay out of other people's business and don't get involved. Washington's address was when this was established. That has not happened over the years. We were also in a imperialism stage where we were taking over smaller countries like Puerto Rico, Hawaii, etc.

6. The U.S constitution is what we live by and follow. Also doesn't let the government take full control of us. Like if we didn't have the right to bear arms, we wouldn't have guns. Freedom of speech, religion, etc. we would not be able to do these things we do today.

7. It will have a huge affect. Like global warming or cooling. In the warming, the polar ice caps are melting so the polar bears are going to die, and we will have longer droughts. Droughts will be a big factor in the future. Water will dry, and crops won't grow so that will have a big impact on all of us.
