1. North Korea dropped out of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and began testing their own nuclear weapons. Other conflicts that we have had with them is that they imprisoned an American citizen, Kenneth Bae, for what they say was crimes against the state but the United States does not buy it. The United States has tried multiple times to free Bae but North Korea has not yet released him. Former NBA basketball player Dennis Rodman and some of his teammates went to North Korea for "basketball diplomacy". While they were over there Rodman sang happy birthday to Kim Jung Un.

  2. The main political systems are Democracy, Dictatorship, and Monarchy. Democracy is where a leader is elected to run the government. Monarchy is where a king or a queen runs the government or even has absolute power, they are not elected but the power is based through the family. Dictatorship is where a leader has absolute power and is not elected, this person can be in power for as long as they want. There are two other political system but they are not as used, Oligarchy is where the country is ruled by an elite group. Anarchy is the absence of government. The main economic systems are Socialism, Capitalism, and Communism. Socialism is when major industries are owned and controlled by the government. Capitalism is when the businesses are owned by individuals and companies and not the government. Communism is when the government owns the businesses. A Mixed economy is where the government owns some of the businesses and so do private sectors.

3. Income inequality is how unevenly income is distributed in society. This is a problem because most people stay in the class that they are born into. We can fix this by increasing minimum wage and for increasing taxes for the rich. Seven was that we can narrow the rich poor gap is by break down social barriers, unify schools, raise minimum wage, tax the rich, give workers a voice, give money to the poor

4. Democrats are more liberal in their beliefs and believe in a strong government. Republicans are more conservative and believe in letting the people choose what they want.

5. The U.S foreign Policy is used in order to protect the people of the United States by getting into everything and helping people out to stay on good sides of other countries. The Geneva convention states the rules of war for countries. United nations is an organization that countries go into and it is a group of allies. The security council is a group that sends troops to other countries that are in need of food and supplies.

6. The constitution is the general layout of all of the laws in the United States. There are 27 amendments on the constitution. Some of the more important amendments are the 1st which talks about the freedom of speech, press, religion and so on. 2nd which states that citizens have the right to bear arms. 13th bans slavery.

7. Climate change is very serious in our country the weather is going to get worse and worse because of manmade climate change. Sea levels are going to begin rising and the arctic oceans are going to start to melt.
