A car's governor is a system in your vehicle that limits how fast you can go. The governor makes your car stop putting fuel into the engine when you hit a certain speed. This causes you to go slower. This can be good so people dont go faster than they can handle. A car is limited by the engine's power and the tires you have on your vehicle. Tires are only supposed to handle so much speed, if you exceed that speed your tires could explode. Most cars have governors on them from the factor for safety reasons. Some people take the governor off to go faster. They do this by reprogramming their vehicle.
Some cars dont have a governor on them from the factor. This could make some customers happy but it is also could be bad for them or other people if they try to go too fast. Cars are governed for a reason, because the car is not rated, or it is unsafe by going faster than it is supposed to.
I think cars should be governed at 100 miles per hour because it's not safe to go faster. I dont think there is a reason to go over 100mph because if you crash you are going to die and if you hit somebody else they are going to die too. You only live once so there is no reason to ruin it by doing something you can prevent with a simpal governer.

I agree if you go over 100mph you are not only risking your life but the other people on the road too.
My car does have a governor in it. I also think that having governed cars is not a good idea. Though they help to keep the roadways safer, there are chips that you can get implanted in these governors to cancel out what they are doing. I think that many people do not push their car to the max. So not having government in cars would only affect those who race/drag. This governor may also make the engine less efficient.
My car does not have a governor on it, but my car is very slow. I think it is a good idea to have cars governed because it is safer for everyone on the road and safer for the person driving. I think cars should be governed at 90 or 95 miles an hour because there is no need to go faster.
I agree cars should have governors on them and I dont think you need to go over 90 or 95 either.
