A new consitiution was then approved by vote and a new government of Iraq was electedforegn torrps remained in Iraq after the establishment of new goern=ment due to insurgency/civil war that developed shortly after the invasion. US became the las member of the coalition to cease combat . us supported iraq in ths war agains iran.

The us and uk claimed that Iraq had weapons of mass destrictuion which was a threat to our security, the unsc called for Iraq to completely cooperate with the un weapon inspectors to verify that. We went in becaue we thought they had weapons but they didn’t. Possible causes: human rights abuse killing his own people, spread democracy, bush wanted to fix what his dad mess up. All the violence against our forces a lot of suicide bombers, civil war broke out while we were fighting hussains forces and al kida started coming in to Iraq.

was opposed to war and all troos were out by 2011 ending the iraq war and he jsut said get out of there. he switched to the afghanistan war. finally eventually got them all out. after we left they became isis moved in and has taken over much of norther iraq andsyria and obama sent 1500 military advisors nack into iraq not to fight but advise them how to fight. obama started abombin campaign on issi targets in august 2014
