WW1 topic.

The German Army used flame throwers on attempt to flush out French or British soldiers from their trenches. This was also used later in World War II... Introduced in 1915, it was used with the most effect during the Hooge battle of July 30th 1915. The army had two types of flame throwers. One was a small single person one that the Germans called "Kleinflammenwerfer" and a larger multiple people on called the "Grossflammenwerfer". With the bigger one, one soldier carried the fuel tank on their back while the other one aimed the nozzle. Both the large and small flame-throwers were of limited of their short range. The flame-thrower was then used during World War II. They then found out that the backpack flame through were bad so they came out with flam tanks.Flame tanks were tanks that were built like flame-through. This was good because it didn’t leave the through exposed to get shot and die.
