I was looking through our movies and found The Great Escape. The Great Escape i thought was a great movie but it was a bit lengthy. The movie is about the real life Stalag Luft III. This camp was a POW camp and was used to hold all of the Prisoners that have escaped multiple times before. It was a little hard to follow who were the Prisoners and who werent but the prisoners try to escape and sometime they are caught and are punished. So they make a huge prison break trying to escape with 250 other men secretly by tunnelling undernieth the camp and past the fence and into cover in the trees. They did this by tunnellign and having look outs and they would dump the dirt onto the outside area and would cover up the dirt sense the dirt from undernieth the shack was darker then the outside dirt they continue to do this and finally get to the day of when they were going to leave once they got to the end they found out the trail was about twenty feet short of the trees they needed for cover. They made there way out but was spotted after a man fell and then they went on a search for the 76 that escaped 73 were found and 50 were executed.
