Enemy at the Gates
This week I watched Enemy at the Gates. It is about the German army trying to take control of Stalingrad. The Russian gave a single rifle two every two men because they did not have enough to give to everyone. The only way the guywho was following to get a rifle is if the shooter dies. When Vassili Zaitsev (Jude Law) meets PoliticalOfficer Danilov (Joseph Fiennes) he picks up rifle and kills five Germanofficers. Danilov right in the army newspaper about Vassili’s shootingabilities, Vassili is reassigned to a sniper unit. As a sniper he kills more than 50 German officers.When the Germans get feed up with the Russian sharp shooters they bring in a sharpshooterof their own, Major König (Ed Harris), to kill Vassili. The Russian also bring someone into help,Koulikov (Ron Perlman) who had trained at the sniper school where Major Königlearned to shoot. I enjoyed watchingthis movie because of the nonstopaction.
