Me and my group watched the movie windtalkers. It is about a world war two soldier Joe Enders. He was knocked unconsious by a grenade. While in the hospital he gets a purple heart. He goes through therapy and is pretty much back to normal except for that he was almost completly deaf.
In order to go back out and fight Joe has to take and pass a hearing test. Since he knows he probably wont pass he has a pharmasist cheat for him. He is then able to go and fight again and is a sergent. He has to watch over a Navajo code talker, Ben Yahzee. Another Sergent is incharge of watching another Navajo code talker, Charlie Whitehorse. They are told if the two code talkers are captured the sergent are to kill them so the japanese dont break the code.
Whitehorse gets captured and Joe has to kill him. Joe and Yahzee are then shot and Yahzee tries to get Joe to shoot him to protect the code. Joe refuses and carries him to safety. Yahzee then realizes Joe was shot in the chest and he dies right there. Yahzee goes back to the U.S. to teach Navajo rituals in memory of Joe.
